Clay Date!

  • Junior High, Incorporated 603 South Brand Boulevard Glendale, CA, 91204 United States (map)

ARTIST WORKSHOP | $25 | ALL AGES | Join our resident clay artist and Curator, Chelsie Rivera (@la_rosebud ), for loosely guided hand building practice. Walk in at your leisure between 11am-5pm for 2hr access to 2 lbs of clay and tools to make your own ceramic sculptures or pots. Option to pay $10 to fire your art work at the end of the 2hr session. Great for those who are looking for access to ceramics, clay friends, or sharpening your skill set! No experience necessary.

No reservations necessary to attend Clay Date. You are welcome to purchase your ticket ahead of time or at the door day-of the event.

If you are a previous student, you will receive an email once your pots have been bisque fired and are ready to glaze. You can come in to any Clay Date to pick up your pieces and/or to glaze your work. Purchase a ticket to receive access to the glazes and for the last firing. Everyone will have up to three months to pick up/glaze their pots- after which we will have to dispose of them to make space for new class work!

Email chelsie@juniorhighla.com for any further questions pertaining to Clay Date!

COVID-19 vaccinations are highly recommended to attend events at Junior High. Learn more here.

This event will be indoors.
