Who is JQSA? Teen JQSA is LA’s premiere community for Jewish, LGBTQ+ and/or ally teens, a space for connection, exploration, and celebration. Offering community events, educational workshops, support services, and leadership opportunities for students grades 7-12, Teen JQSA equips participants with the tools and resources needed to navigate their world as young, queer, Jewish people.

On the 14th, meet JQ Youth Program Manager Sam Goodman and learn more about JQ International’s programming.

From JQSA: "In the face of growing anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, homophobia and transphobia, JQ is committed to creating inclusive spaces, ensuring all of our community members have the opportunity to celebrate their identities, develop a cohesive sense of self, and experience joy in what is a very dark moment in history. We continue to feel great sorrow for the loss of life, the destruction of safe space, and the suffering among innocent Palestinian and Israeli people and we pray for the safe return of all Israeli hostages taken by Hamas. Our community events, education, and support services continue to serve our community as we navigate this devastating time in solidarity. If you are in need of support, please know that the JQ Helpline and our support groups are open to all regardless of religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or political affiliation. We are here for you whoever you are and whatever you need. Together, we will continue to walk the path toward a brighter future for all LGBTQ+ Jews and other oppressed communities."

COVID-19 vaccinations are highly recommended to attend events at Junior High. Learn more here. This event will be indoors.
