PANEL | FREE | ALL AGES | Join us to hear from LA community organizers about their inspirations and tactics for bettering their communities. We will discuss the different forms community organizing can take, and how to get involved.

Featuring:

Miry Whitehill of Miry’s List, an organization working to help refugee families settle into their new lives.

Asha Grant of the Free Black Women’s Library of LA and The Salt Eaters Bookshop, two organizations working to make literature from Black female authors accessible.

Joy Yamaguchi, an activist who is currently working with Nikkei Progressives and focuses on Japanese-American community building and transformative justice.
