Los Angeles is a wonderland to behold. The sheer number of activities are endless, ranging from world-class eateries and expansive parks to unique gift shops and a magnetic arts scene. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the weekend, it’s important to know the best spots to partake in humanity’s favorite pastime: DRAMA.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery During an Outdoor Movie Showing

Cinespia is using their funds to show…Shrek the Third. Interrupt the screening by looking at the graves and commenting on their history; extra points for bringing a big flashlight. Being noticed can be so chic.

The Party Stores of Highland Park

Tell them to meet you at the party store on York Blvd. with no other details. Are you at Ana’s? Lupitas 98? Juniors Discount? That’s for them to find out.

Los Angeles Public Library, Los Feliz Branch - Under the Signed Twilight Poster

Release your frustrations over R-Pat having an indie film career while Taylor Lautner is nowhere to be found. Loudly read your ten page thesis on the #TEAMJACOB movement. Honor your tween self.

The Winnie The Pooh Located in The Far East Plaza in Chinatown

Sit your parents down in the honeypot and tell them about your own generational trauma findings. They should handle it well, while in the company of a delightful little bear.

The Giant Universal Studios Minion - Nightfall

Under the glow of the large, yellow one, finally break-up with your lover. It was going to end anyway and now they can’t possibly forget you. Perfect.

Dulan’s Soul Food Kitchen - Inglewood

It’s just one of those nights! Pretend you don’t have lactose intolerance and eat up a cup of the legendary macaroni and cheese. In an hour or so, it is not only your problem, it’s everyone’s problem.

Supersweet Tattoo and Coffee Shop - Echo Park

So you found out your close friend didn’t vote in the primaries. Here, you can tell them you won’t be going through with the matching tattoos as they are halfway through theirs and have caffeine-anxiety jitters. Point made.

The Shell That Once Was Upright Citizens Brigade Sunset

The absolute worst is the white-creepy-improv-guy. He always thinks he has another shot with you and deserves a little something extra. Tell him to stay there, because white guys in comedy will take the world nowhere. This is public service.

Laemmle Theater - Glendale

Start a round of “Telephone” in the theater, right before the Elvis movie starts. Many of our drama origin stories began with this very game. Do your part.
