After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the fashion industry, Lauren quickly found a passion for photography and visual arts. "Cut From the Same Cloth" is a fashion-focused film centered on the hardships faced by women of color in the fashion/modeling industry due to the constant rejection and appropriation. The title is a reference to the idea that we are all a cut from the same cloth, all made of the same thing, and all return to the same place.
