Ali Liebegott is a writer and painter. She has published four books and received the Peabody Award, two Lambda Literary Awards and a Ferro-Grumley Award. She has read and performed her work throughout the United States and Canada with the legendary queer literary tour Sister Spit. Her paintings are full of energy, vibrance, and — her magnum-opus — cynicism. Categorically featuring herself or her pets, Ali’s paintings are reflections of her mood, her surroundings, and her home. Her works are somber, yet child-like, with an adult reverence for the routine.

Nicole J. Georges is a writer, illustrator, podcaster & professor. Her latest book, Fetch: How a Bad Dog Brought Me Home, is the recipient of 2 Oregon Book Awards, and a Lambda nomination for best Graphic Novel. Her illustrations and paintings are striking, magnetic, and inexplicably comical. Often featuring pets and their owners, Nicole’s recurring characters — dog therapist, herself cartoon-ized, Ponyo her pet Chihuahua — are full of wit and stoicisms borrowing palpably from lived experience.
