Elegy

EXHIBIT | $5 SUGGESTED DONATION | ALL AGES | Eden Soni Bhalla is a queer artist, writer, and photographer with a B.A. in Sociology. Her installation, Elegy, opens Friday Night, Oct 4th from 7-10pm and is exhibited for viewing October 5-6 from 12-6pm.

Elegy is a practice in searching for new, accessible ways to combine media and create storytelling formats that illustrate actual lived experiences as they are: messy, incomplete, non-linear, and often without complete resolution. It is their hope that this process can inspire collective healing and imagination.

Elegy is a mixed media piece utilizing an original score, screenshots of old notes, text messages, photos, and tweets to illustrate how the artist experienced their abortion, and how technology both mediated and impacted the way they experienced trauma, grief, love, healing, and transformation.
