Nightjars is the solo project of Adrian Jade Matias Bell (he/they), who grew up in Southern California and now lives in San Francisco. Matias Bell's childhood spent listening to folk music and their love of puzzles and poems can be heard in each song they craft as Nightjars: a replica of the tiny world they know. The first Nightjars LP, Modjeska, will be released later this year and chronicles Matias Bell's adolescence in Orange County and LA. — @nightjars_music

Inner Speckled Flower is a practice of interior awareness by Christina Tsui, born and still living adjacent to the San Gabriel Mountains. A six-year hiatus bust in 2019 when song emerged like an old, rejuvenating friend. Pour one out for song. — @innerspeckledflower

Smooth Jas is the musical moniker of 22-year-old Long Beach native Jasmine Navarro. They began writing songs at home around the summer of 2018, with a ukulele and a very novice understanding of GarageBand. Through music, they hope to connect to young queer folks and people of color like themselves, and try to understand the world around them a little more. — @smoothjasisonline
