WORKSHOP | $0—$15 SUGGESTED | 12+ | American Heart Association Certified Instructor Mike Hain is coming to Junior High to teaching a course in Emergency Response Training. We are offering American Heart Association Certification for a fee of $40.
Please be early, as we will start on time. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Please allow extra time as Junior High is street parking only. The course will include presentation and interactive components.
This Basic Life Support class will teach you what to do in case of a sudden life threatening emergency to someone who is injured. Participants will learn CPR and basic First Aid including Stop the Bleed.

As a participant, you will be required to bend over and apply pressure to a CPR mannequin. The adult CPR mannequins are placed on the floor to simulate what happens to someone who is in sudden cardiac arrest. If for any reason, you cannot kneel on the floor please let us know and we will accommodate your request. Participants will be provided non-latex gloves. This is a mask required event.
This event will be indoors.
NOTE: Due to CDC guidelines and Los Angeles county regulations, all attendees must be distanced 6 feet and masked during the entire event.
