WORKSHOP | FREE | ALL AGES | Training your community to respond to an overdose and supplying each certified individual with
naloxone (Narcan) has far-reaching, and potentially life saving implications.
Our training covers 1) background information on the opioid epidemic and fentanyl, 2) how to use fentanyl testing strips, 3) how to identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, 4) how to respond to an overdose and administer naloxone, 5) Good Samaritan Law protections, and 6) aftercare.
Training attendees will be asked to complete a release of liability waiver and an anonymous pre- and post-survey. Following the training is an interactive Q&A segment and naloxone distribution.
