MUSIC + FUNDRAISER | $5 OR MORE | ALL AGES | At least 680 undocumented immigrants were detained August 7 in raids at seven food processing plants across central Mississippi. In order to raise money for their defense we are hosting a fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going towards the Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance, a formal coalition of immigrant and non-immigrant groups that formed in the Fall of 2000 in response to the needs of the rapidly growing, largely Latino immigrant population in Mississippi.
