Lighthaus Presents Living Archive: Identity, Art, and Culture

  • Junior High, Incorporated 603 South Brand Boulevard Glendale, CA, 91204 United States (map)

WORKSHOP | $15 | ALL AGES | An immersive gathering to reflect, remember, and reclaim the stories that shape us. Join Lighthaus for an afternoon of creative workshops, archival preservation, and collective storytelling as we explore the power of documenting our heritage and defining culture on our own terms.

What to Expect:

Reflective Writing & Sound Workshop – Engage in contemplative writing in zine format, accompanied by immersive audio from Alfred Nomad's "Until I Get Home" album.

"Letters to Home" Creative Writing Workshop – An intimate exploration of cultural identity, grief, and reclamation. Write letters to places you no longer live, past versions of yourself, and future visions of "home." Share anonymously or keep private.

On-Site Photo Digitization – Bring physical photographs and family archives to be digitized and preserved for future generations.

Physical Archiving – Transform digital images into tangible keepsakes by creating photo albums on-site.

Living Archive is a space for reflection, healing, and reclamation. Whether you're reconnecting with traditions you've lost access to, documenting family histories, or exploring what culture means to you today, this gathering offers tools and community to support your journey.

Come as you are. Bring your stories. Let's remember together.

Presented by Lighthaus – an arts-led community organization using creativity as a tool for equity, education, and connection.
