F*ck Ice: Market For Migrant Relief

  • Junior High, Incorporated 603 South Brand Boulevard Glendale, CA, 91204 United States (map)

COMMUNITY | $8-$15 | ALL AGES | Join us for an evening of solidarity with immigrant communities affected by ICE raids through community, art, food, tattoos, ceramics and more.

We believe that art and community are powerful tools against fascism. Join us to exist in community rooted in action, love and resistance.

This will be a ticketed event with a 2-tiered ticket system. Get an $8 ticket to enjoy the market. Get a $15 ticket to enjoy the market and participate in the simultaneous clay workshop. 50% of ticket sales will be donated to The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights. Each of our participating vendors and artists will also be donating portions of their sales to a relevant non-profit and/or mutual aid project providing relief to migrant communities from ICE raids.

Clay Date will also be making an appearance! While you’re waiting for food or a tattoo, come play with clay! You will have the chance to reserve 1 hour with a Clay Date instructor sculpt your own ceramic piece throughout the duration of the event. Then you will have the choice to fire your piece (and return to a future clay date to glaze) or recycle your clay for no extra charge.

Raffle including pieces from several different artists, 100% of proceeds going to @‌chirla.

If you are not able to attend, details of how you can get involved will be shared soon. Please reach out to Shea (@sheasmelser) with any questions.

COVID-19 vaccinations are highly recommended to attend events at Junior High. Learn more here.

This event will be indoors.
