COMEDY | $10 | ALL AGES | Comedy artist Natasha Mercado presents her solo show “Tree”, which was developed alongside Deanna Fleysher, creator of the award-winning international hit show BUTT KAPSKINSKI and Drag King Comedy. Part clown show, part game show, part philosophical discussion exploring the duality of humanity. A lovable gaze into a spiraling staircase of existentialism with surprising, yet inevitable, turns. It’s a tree pretending to be human. We’ve all been there, right?

Natasha Mercado is an actress, producer and director who is passionate about absurdity, vulnerability and connection. She's a classically trained clown who has studied with Deanna Fleysher, Dr. Brown, John Gilkey, Eric Davis, the London Clown School and Philippe Gaulier (just to name a few). She has appeared in videos for Adult Swim, Más Mejor (Broadway Video’s premium comedy studio powered by Latino voices), Weltraum Gallery (Berlin) and created the first ever monthly clown show at UCB Franklin called "Bring in My Clowns".

Natasha has produced events for the Upright Citizens Brigade bringing customized comedy programs to groups across the country including improv, sketch, storytelling and public speaking intensives. She has virtually taught "Physical Comedy & Clowning" to adults and children at Stomping Ground Comedy Theatre (Dallas), including a workshop called “Playful Mindfulness” sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association.
