SEARCHING FOR 18+ QTBIPOC ARTISTS IN THE LA AREA

PROMPT: Community & Unity - what do these words mean to you? What does it look like to nurture a community, or to be nurtured by a community? What art work of yours best represents your community? 

Our upcoming group show, commUNITY, is set to open Friday, January 10, 2025 . The show will last for three weeks, with the last day to view the show being Sunday, January 28th, 2024. 
Open Gallery Hours are Saturdays and Sundays 11am-5pm.


To apply, fill out the Google form to submit up to 5 photos of your work.

Submitted work MUST: 

  • not exceed 2’x2’

  • not include hate speech

  • be completed and photographed upon applying

  • be framed (if applicable)

  • be able to hang on a wall with nail or screw

Please keep in mind:

  • there is no submission fee to participate in the show

  • all work shown in the exhibition will be listed for sale through Junior High. Artists price their own work. Junior High retains 30% of sales to support operating costs (read more about our finances here)

  • Junior High will not pay for any shipping costs for art work

  • Junior High provides promotional materials (i.e. digital and print fliers, press releases, etc.)

  • Junior High will ensure your chosen name is printed and displayed alongside your work

  • if you have special installation requests, include this info in the “DETAILS” section of this form
