THEN we will shift to a year-round fundraiser to continue and maintain the No Cost No Contact Supplies Station.
No Cost No Contact supply station mission
We are looking to create a weather-resistant outdoor supply pickup station to be able to purchase Necessary supplies to maintain a dignified life during a recession/climate crisis/long-term instability. Including but not limited to hygiene supplies and weather specific needs such as umbrellas and blankets in the winter and sunscreen and hats in the summer.
Since January 2025 we’ve distributed over 300 pre packed hygiene kits and over 200 packs of new socks and underwear. This work has been impactful and we’ve consistently heard that our community wants it to continue.
How it started…
We are providing basic Necessities to Folks Impacted by LA’s
January 2025 Fires
Since January 8th 2025, Junior High has opened it’s doors to accept in-kind donations of KN95 masks and N95 respirators, water bottles and jugs, electrolyte powders and beverages, hygiene kits and menstrual products.
On January 9th + 10th we fed 150+ individuals displaced by the fires and volunteers delivering supplies around the city free hot vegan meals.
Since starting our fundraiser on January 12th twe surpassed our goal of $10,000 to give $100 to 100 GoFundMe campaigns for families who have lost their homes and livelihoods in the 2025 fires.
