WORKSHOP |$35 | AGES 16+ | In this beginner class, you will learn to work with clay, creating and joining slabs together to create your own personalized box! Push the limits of hand building and slab built vessels by creating a unique box that can be both decorative and functional. Whether you’re interested in making a keepsake box, match box, sugar jar, or butter dish- we will bring your ideas to life! Taught by Chelsie Rivera.
This is a 2 hr class and you will be provided with all necessary materials, glazes, and one firing to create your unique vessel. Students can also choose to purchase an additional ticket and return to glaze at a later Clay Date. Firings take 4-6 weeks to complete. Once fired, you’ll be able to take home your 1-2 new food safe boxes for your enjoyment!
You will receive an email once your pots are ready to pick up. You can pick up your pieces on Mondays 12-6pm or at any Clay Date. You will have up to three months to pick up/glaze your works – after which we will have to dispose of them to make space for new class work!
