WORKSHOP | $30 | 18+ | Have you ever wished your partner knew how to give an actual massage?? That one knot in your shoulder that has been killing you all week and five minutes into the "massage", their thumbs are giving out. Massage 101 is an introduction to massage workshop that Marisa Beltran del Rio and my own amazing massage therapist Crystal L, will be hosting at Junior High.
During this hands-on workshop, you and your partner(s), friend(s), roommate, situationship have the opportunity to explore various massage techniques and gain a deeper understanding of body mechanics. For an hour and a half, we'll be focusing on the key areas of pain for the average human: neck, shoulders, hips and back, with time to do individual focused work for each partner group. With our expert guidance, we'll teach you how to release tension, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being through the power of touch. To ensure the best experience possible, we have prepared five massage tables and two massage chairs for your use during the event. Each station will be fully equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment, allowing you to dive into the world of massage therapy with confidence.

This workshop is open to partner groups of all types and is proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly. Regardless of your gender, relationship, and sexual orientation, we extend a warm invitation to join us and discover the transformative power of massage.

Please note that tickets for this event are in extremely limited supply and are available for $30 per ticket. To ensure a safe and comfortable space for everyone, we are requiring a minimum purchase of two tickets.

If you have your own massage table or chair, we encourage you to bring it with you. If you would like to purchase your own to have at home, inquire during the workshop.
